You see the cost before you pay
The amount leaving your wallet is shown on the confirmation screen, together with any fee that applies, before you enter your PIN. Nothing is deducted until you confirm. If a top-up does not go through, it is recorded in your transaction history with its status so you can see what happened.
Paid from your wallet, not your card
Fund your PopnChat wallet once by card or bank transfer, and airtime comes out of that balance. No re-entering card details for a ₦200 recharge, and no bouncing between your bank app and a vendor.

Can I buy airtime for someone else?
Yes. Enter any Nigerian phone number on the airtime screen. It does not need to be the number attached to your PopnChat account.
How do I pay for airtime?
Airtime is paid from your PopnChat wallet balance. Fund the wallet by card or bank transfer first, then top-ups draw from that balance.
What happens if a top-up fails?
The transaction is recorded in your history with its status. Money that did not result in a successful top-up is not silently kept — check the transaction record in your wallet for the outcome.
